Question: QuickLaw won't insert the Defendant/Employer name, address or information into my court forms.

Answer:

The problem is with the Category associated with your Defendant record. The defendant in the "Associated Names" screen must have the category "Defendant". If you use "Employer" or any other category (other than "Defendant") the forms won't fill properly.

Why does a category called "Employer" come with QuickLaw when it can cause so much confusion? Because it came with QuickLaw originally (a long time ago) and we didn't take it out because some "old" users of QuickLaw may still be using it.
